It can also prove quite fatal in the long run. 7-8 hours of sleep is optimum for a normally active adult. 

Try to eliminate stress - It is easier said than done but one must try to reduce stress as much as possible. It can accumulate and cause a lot of health issues. Stress can also lead to heart attacks, strokes and migraines, all of which are serious conditions.
